Floral Alternatives began in 1990 by designing flowers using fabrics to coordinate with unique home decor elements creating large and smaller table centerpieces. Each flower is handmade.The wedding industry quickly saw the need for this unique offering of using fabric to design flowers into wedding bouquets. The product line was expanded to include bridesmaid bouquets, single long stem flowers, corsages, boutonnieres, message flowers and other theme fabric patterns. Brides wanted handmade wedding bouquets designed with pieces of their Mother's wedding dress to create an unforgettable keepsake.

Silks and Satin fabrics are used to design fabric flowers in an array of colors and texture choices that fresh and silk flowers do not offer. We also create Swarovski beaded wedding bouquets in crystals and pearls. See the gallery to view a few of those designs in our gallery.

Floral Alternatives expanded the product line again in 2004 by offering Swarovski crystal and pearl beaded wedding bouquets. Each bead is hand-strung to create a hand-tied or cascaded effect wedding bouquets and other wedding items.
